Forum > Temas out there?
Hi Leigh,
I think most teams are set for the year, or if they are still looking for members you may have missed the kit buy, if you care about matching :). Team Evergreen may be accepting new racers and I know has a clinic for riders. You missed Boulder Cycle Sports team sign-up, but it may still be worth it to call them. Sports Garage in Boulder has Tuesday (I think) morning practice clinics. This is just a rumor, but I think Canyon Cycles in Kittredge is forming a team, or thinking about it. There is a half day clinic at Bicycle Village coming up, check the ACA Website. Anyways, in today's Denver Post I read an article that said there are over 2500 registered cyclocross racers in the Front Range...so you should be able to find a team or ride buddies.
Oops, I am not too sure about the Sports Garage practice clinics, I may have been misinformed. They may be just thinking about starting a regular ride/practice...not sure, but I think Cam at SG would know more.
A couple other rumors...a practice ride may be starting at Commons Park near REI in Downtown Denver, a ride in Golden and one near Dakota Ridge HS. Things will be clearer in a couple of weeks.

I just moved to Denver and I'm loving it here. Cross season is coming up and I'm a little nervous because I have not met a single cross rider yet. I was on a team near Seattle and around this time of year there were cyclocross clinics and camps starting up every weekend. I know cycling is huge in CO, and there are a few different cross series. Who do I have to beat with a cowbell to get in touch with a team and possibly attend some clinics?
Any info is much appreciated,
Leigh
