Scumb of the Earth - EYES OUT FOR STOLEN BIKE

Here is a picture of a happy boy. In fact, this is my bro and team mate, from Boulder Dave W. See his smile? This is in part due to the epic ride taken on this day, but mostly due to his pride and Joy, his Maverick ML-7.

Sunday, some foolio stole this bike out of his garage. I will provide info on this bike including his Maverick Head Badge "name" (all Mavericks are given a unique name on the head badge) and other characteristics, but in general, keep an eye out on Craig's/eBay/local trails/local shops for the following:

  • Large Black Maverick ML7 Frame
  • Rear Wheel has a prototype CycleOps PowerTap...it has an all black hub (e.g. no carbon or silver bits like the road ones do. The rear rim has no manufacturer details on it either but had wheelbuilder.com stickers on it.
PLEASE KEEP AN EYE OUT!!

More from Dave:

The last month I've had a pre-production Powertap mountain bike hub. This hub differed from the production hub in that it was all black, unlike the production model on the website with the polished aluminum and carbon "windows." In addition, the hub was farily non-descript, at least to an average person.

Other parts on the bike:

Large black anodized Maverick
Shimano XT (crank, from derailler)
SRAM (XO shifters, rear derailluer)
Avid Juicy 5 breaks
SC32 Maverick fork
FSA bar, stem and seatpost
Continental front tire, Maxxis tubeless rear tire
Maverick Thru axle front hub with Mavic 717
Rear wheel rim had no markings save for Wheelbuilder.com decals
WTB Rocket V Race saddle
Crank Brothers candy pedals
ODI lock on grips
Yellow Pedros blow out seat bag

Last there was a powertap mount on the stem as well as a Polar mount on the bar.

I know the feeling of getting to the spot where you left your trusty stead only to find emptiness. Your stomach drops to your feet. Hope you find the culprit and then proceed to tar and feather him

This bums be out. Does your brother live in Boulder?

You may want to monitor Craig's List, eBay, MTBR, etc to see if there is any activity.

Sorry, I give myself a D- for comprehension of your post with additional marks off for the Craig's/eBay repetition.

I will forcefully undergo some basic reading skill exercises including a rigourous review of "Goodnight Moon" and "The Napping House."
